6 Pack Abs? Hopefully!!

Who doesn’t want 6 pack abs?? Truthfully, I would settle for a nice 4 pack! Hey…a girl can dream…or try to make it happen.

Whittle My Middle

I’m following Angela’s program for Whittle My Middle in 30 days. I will write down what I do each day. I’m starting today (November 12th), so I’m one day behind Angela. I still need to take my pics and measurements so I can see any difference.

November 12th

  • Plank: 60 seconds (arms fully extended)
  • Side plank: 30 secs. on each side (arm fully extended)
  • Plank with elbows on stability ball: 1 minute
  • Stability Ball Jackknifes: 15 reps
  • Stability ball roll out:  25 reps
  • Plank Rotations: 60 seconds

November 13th

  • Plank: 65 seconds (switching between arms fully extended and on elbows)
  • Side plank: 40 secs. on each side (arm fully extended)
  • Plank with elbows on stability ball: 55 seconds
  • Stability Ball Jackknifes: 12 reps
  • Stability ball roll out: 25 reps
  • Plank Rotations: 60 seconds

November 14th

Got in as much as I could before spin class started. My abs and arms were sore from the previous days whittle my middle exercises and the elliptical.

  • Plank: 75 seconds ( arms fully extended )
  • Side plank: 45 secs. on each side (arm fully extended)
  • Plank Rotations: 60 secs.

November 15th

  • Plank: 75 seconds ( arms fully extended )
  • Side plank: 45 secs. on each side (arm fully extended)
  • Plank with elbows on stability ball: 60 seconds
  • Stability Ball Jackknifes: 15 reps
  • Stability ball roll out: 30 reps
  • Plank Rotations: 80 secs

November 16th

  • Plank: 70 seconds ( arms fully extended )
  • Side plank: 30 secs. on each side (arm fully extended)
  • Plank with elbows on stability ball: 60 seconds
  • Stability Ball Jackknifes: 25 reps
  • Stability ball roll out: 25 reps
  • Plank Rotations: 80 secs

November 17th: rested my abs

November 18th

  • Plank: 85 seconds ( arms fully extended )
  • Side plank: 40 secs. on each side (forearm on ground- fully extended is hurting my wrists too mcuh)
  • Plank with elbows on stability ball: 65 seconds
  • Stability Ball Jackknifes: 22 reps
  • Stability ball roll out: 20 reps
  • Plank Rotations: 70 secs

November 19th

I changed up the order that I did these today, so my plank was much harder to hold!

  • Plank: 45 seconds ( arms fully extended )
  • Side plank: forgot to do!
  • Plank with elbows on stability ball: 75 seconds
  • Stability Ball Jackknifes: 20 reps
  • Stability ball roll out: 25 reps

November 22nd

  • Plank: 60 seconds ( arms fully extended )
  • Side plank: 30 seconds

  • Stability Ball Jackknifes: no ball
  • Stability ball roll out: no ball

November 23rd

  • Plank: 60 seconds ( arms fully extended )
  • Side plank: forgot to do

  • Stability Ball hamstring Curls: 20 reps
  • Stability ball roll out: 20 reps

November 25th

  • Stability Ball Jackknifes: 25 reps
  • Stability ball roll out: 28 reps
  • Plank Rotations:  70 seconds

December 5th

  • Plank:  80 seconds ( switched btwn fully extended & on elbows)
  • Side plank: 45seconds (on elbows)
  • Plank with elbows on stability ball: 60 seconds
  • Stability Ball Jackknifes: 28 reps
  • Stability ball roll out: 28 reps
  • Plank Rotations:  75 seconds

December 7th

  • Plank:  70 seconds ( switched btwn fully extended & on elbows)
  • Side plank: 50seconds (switched btwn fulled extended & on elbows)
  • Plank with elbows on stability ball: 60 seconds
  • Stability Ball Jackknifes: 30 reps
  • Stability ball roll out: Didn’t do…I have strange bruises on my knee and they were too painful.
  • Plank Rotations:  80 seconds

December 9th

  • Plank:  110 seconds ( switched btwn fully extended & on elbows) Yeah! My longest to date!
  • Side plank: 40seconds (switched btwn fulled extended & on elbows)
  • Plank with elbows on stability ball: 50 seconds
  • Stability Ball Jackknifes: 30 reps
  • Stability ball roll out: Didn’t do…I have strange bruises on my knee and they were too painful.

December 10th

  • Plank:  60 seconds
  • Side plank: 40seconds (switched btwn fulled extended & on elbows)
