Some Kind of Wonderful

Today has just been one of those…wonderful days, actually it’s been a pretty wonderful week. The two big things this week were getting my new camera and being able to slowly start introducing running back into my life. Not too shabby.

Today I came home to a POM care package. How wonderful! Actually, it’s POM Wonderful. The folks at POM sent me some samples of their 100% pomegranate juice.

I have tried POM before, but it’s been a while so I was very happy to give it another taste test. I had a few sips after my p90x core synergistics workout tonight (told you I would have a double workout today to work off those bites of Crumbs!). Mmm…their juice is just so tasty. It’s the sweet taste of pomegranate with that little tart bite at the end.

If you didn’t know already this juice packs a powerful healthy punch. POM’s juice is all natural and contains NO added sugars. One of the fun facts that they told me about is that throughout history, the pomegranate has been revered as a symbol of health, fertility, and re-birth. Don’t worry though, I’m not planning on popping any babies out any time soon. :)

Research has shown that drinking 8oz of pomegranate juice a day can increase blood flow to the heart and can lower rates of prostate cancer. Pretty sweet!

What I also love is their cute little bottles. 2 servings come in 1 bottle of juice. It’s easy to mark where a serving starts and ends due to the little bulbs in the bottle’s shape. I think that is pretty cool.

So there you have it, I am a POM believer!

You know what else is wonderful? I just watched the season finale of So You Think You Can Dance and I am super stoked with the winner. Did you watch? I would have been happy with anyone winning…I thought they were all great.

Now I am off to try and get a dinner reservation at Tavern on the Green for when my dad is here over Christmas. Did you know that it is closing as of Jan 1st?

Oh, I almost forgot one more amazing, wonderful thing…head over to The Clean Eating Mama to enter a giveaway for some Starbucks!

  • Nice pom + p90x!

I am on week 3 of Insanity. But I did p90x ab ripped yesterday with my Insanity workout, KILLER!

How is the Core Syn workout? I need to do some doubles and I am curious what P90X workouts could compliment my plan.

Do you like Cardio X? Kenpo?

    Happy Friday,

    Katie

    • Hey Katie-

I love the cardio X, it’s nice because it’s not as long as the other ones. I actually haven’t done the kempo yet, but I’ll let you know. Th ab ripper is absolute insanity! Are the insanity workouts good, is it a set like P90X?
